A domain name consists of letters or words, hyphens, numbers, and/or a combination of these. In the URL, the domain name is preceded by http:// and is followed by .com, .net, .org or any other top-level domain.
Choosing the right domain name for your website is a very important task. The domain name will serve as your identity online. It will play a big role in your online marketing efforts since it is what people will remember and it will be used when they link to your site.
